It will be evident that the wire is routed from the upper part of each block and thence through the next die, in a straight line, and onto the lower part of the following block. This path results in the wire being bent in one plain only making the design compatible with the drawing of large diameter carbon steel wires which are difficult to thread and alloy steels which harden rapidly with cold working.

The tilted table design enables a high volume of wire to be stored on each block and the high level wire accumulation provides the optimum conditions for effective cooling. Depending on your wire drawing you can adjust the tilting to your preferred and most suitable level.
